MATERIAL AND METHODS

1.1 20 samples from exposed sero-negative individuals

1.2 20 sample from expose sero-positive individuals

1.3 control from normal non infected 

2. Target viruses cloned X4R5 and R5 viruses of HIV-1 subtype E, those are derived from infectious DNA clones, 93JP-NH1(2) and 93JP-NH2env(3), respectively.

3. Indicator Cells MAGIC-5-cells

4. V3 peptide ELISA peptides corresponding to V3 loop sequences on NH1 and NH2 will be used to evaluate anti-V3 antibody levels in ELISA experiments.
